Idaho Veteran's Silver Medallion

The Idaho Veteran's Silver Medallions were created, to honor all veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The sale of these one ounce silver coins will help fund the maintenance and operation of the Idaho Veterans Cemetery, dedicated on July 31, 2004. This series includes the image of Major Gregory Stone (second from the left), the first Idahoan killed while fighting the war on terrorism in Iraq. The medallion will be in his memory and honor. Also featured is the image of Byron Dalley Mason (second from the right), an Idahoan killed in the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. The reverse side features the Official Seal of Idaho.
